Thank you for participating in New Roots 1976.
This project celebrates the stories, experiences, and contributions of immigrants and their families across Canada. These Terms of Use help ensure a respectful and safe experience for all participants.
Participation Guidelines
We welcome stories, photographs, artwork, videos, audio recordings, and other creative submissions related to immigration, heritage, identity, belonging, and community.
When participating, please:
- Share only content you created or have permission to use.
- Treat all individuals and communities with respect.
- Avoid sharing sensitive personal information.
- Ensure submitted information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Ownership of Your Work
You retain copyright and ownership of your submission.
By submitting content, you grant the Toronto Asian Art Museum (TAAM) permission to display, reproduce, and share your submission for educational, cultural, exhibition, promotional, and archival purposes related to the New Roots 1976 project.
This permission is non-exclusive and royalty-free.
Content Review
- Contains hate speech, harassment, or discrimination;
- Violates privacy rights;
- Infringes copyright;
- Contains unlawful or inappropriate material;
- Does not align with the purpose of the project.
